Uses :
Descaling household appliances (kettles, coffee machines, washing machines) :
• Kettle / Coffee maker : Dilute 1 to 2 tablespoons of citric acid in 1 litre of water, fill the appliance, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• Washing machine : Pour 6 to 8 tablespoons into the drum, then run an empty cycle at high temperature.
Cleaning surfaces (taps, tiles, sinks) :
• Mix 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 500 ml of hot water.
• Apply with a sponge or cloth to the scaled areas, leave for a few minutes, then rinse.
Laundry stain remover :
• Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of citric acid to the fabric softener compartment to revive colours and soften clothes.
Precautions for use :
• Wear gloves as citric acid can irritate the skin.
• Do not use on marble, limestone or aluminium.
• Keep out of reach of children.
